As May comes to a close tomorrow we wanted to do one last news roundup post for the month. Here’s some things you may have missed.

Arrived

Arrived launched a community round on Wefunder and it’s going very well. The round only has $500K allocated to it, but they’ve already received $9M in reservations.

FranShares

Accredited investors are now able to directly invest in FranShares the company through a partnership with Litquidty or through a syndication on AngelList.

Here

Investors on the site are now receiving daily emails from the Here CEO highlighting different Airbnb deals on the real estate marketplace. The top referrer to the mailing list for the month will receive a $250 Airbnb gift card.

This comes as the platform continues to struggle to close new offerings this year. After successfully funding The Mountaineer and The Hawthorn to start 2023, they withdrew their Juniper offering and The Whitefin sits at 87% funded. Whitefin launched in late March, and was 76% funded on May 3rd.

Nada Cityfunds

They’re running a promotional offer that ends 05/31 at midnight EST. For every $1000 you invest in one of their cityfunds, they will provide a $100 of free shares.

Masterworks

You’ll now have more opportunities to see the artwork Masterworks owns for their offerings. The Broad Museum in Los Angeles will be displaying 3 pieces from Masterworks as a part of a spotlight on Keith Haring. They’ve also opened permanent gallery space in New York City.

RoyaltyExchange

RoyaltyExchange reported that the week of May 7th saw the highest ever number of purchase offers made on the platform. The company believes this is an indication of music royalties continuing to gain traction as an asset class.

StartEngine

StartEngine celebrated their 40,000th investor on the site.

Vinovest

Based on the latest Whiskeyvest newsletter, Vinovest will merge their wine and whiskey offerings under the Vinovest brand. Hopefully this means that wine and whiskey holdings will be counted together for the account tiers.
